The California Street Parking Garage is on the corner of Tehama and California Street with the entrance on the California Street side, just ½ block from the Public Market. It is open 24 hours a day.
Garage parking is $1 per hour up to $8 daily. City street parking is $1 per hour between the hours 8am-6pm and is free after 6pm and on weekends.
The California Street Parking Garage accepts card payment and City parking can be paid at downtown pay stations, in the Flowbird mobile app, or Pay by Text.
There is no time limit in our public parking garages downtown. City street parking expires every 2 hours to encourage parking turnover. City street parkers may begin a new parking session after 2 hours.
Yes. Free parking is available without time limits just outside the paid parking zones a few blocks away.
Yes! Redding Public Market will offer parking validation for the first hour for California Street Parking Garage parkers for at least the first 90 days of opening.
